I have a long and wide range of experience in general arts education and have more recently immersed myself in understanding adult education.I advocate for inclusive education and more specifically for education which is healthy, responsive and built for communities and the individuals which make up those communities.I am a registered teacher with the Teaching Council of Ireland, am on the panel of art teachers for Kilkenny/ Carlow Educational and Training Board and have over twenty years’ experience in teaching art, both in Secondary School and with adult and community groups here in Ireland.

I work as Course Coordinator in KCAT (Kilkenny Collective for Arts Talent), an Inclusive Arts Centre in Callan, Co.Kilkenny www.kcat.ie.

I am also working as a researcher on a Doctorate in Adult and Community Education with Maynooth University.
